Elai Video Editor: Basic Step-by-Step Guide

With Elai Video Editor, you don't need expensive equipment or complex software. Our platform allows you to transform text into video presentations led by an AI-powered digital presenter in no time.

Follow this simple guide to create your first video.

Step 1: Login and Start a Project

1. Go to app.elai.io and sign in to your account.

2. Once in the dashboard, click the "Create Video" button.

3. You can choose one of four ways to start:

   • From Scratch or Template: Start with a blank canvas or choose from templates.

   • From AI Storyboard: Generate a script and video from a prompt, link or text.

   • Import PPTX, PPT, or PDF: Turn your existing presentation into a video.

Step 2: Choose Your Avatar

Select the digital presenter who will deliver your message.

• Click on the Avatar tab in the sidebar.

• Choose from 80+ avatars in our library.

• You can change the avatar's size, position, or style (e.g., circular frame).

• Note: You can have a unique avatar for each slide, apply the same one to all slides or choose the no avatar option.

Step 3: Add Your Script and choose the Voice

This is the core of your video - what your avatar will say.

• Type or paste your text into the Text-to-Speech box at the bottom of the editor.

• Select a language (from 75+ available languages).

• Choose a Voice that fits your tone.

• Optional: You can use the Phoneme tool to correct the pronunciation of specific words.

Step 4: Customize Visuals and Slides

Make your video engaging by adding visual elements.

• Slides: Add as many slides as you need (up to 100 slides) using the "Add Slide" button.

• Text & Images: Add text overlays, upload your own images/logos, or choose from our extensive stock library.

• Elements: Add shapes, Lottie animations, or stickers to make your content pop.

• Music: Go to the "Music" tab to add a background track from our library or upload your own.

Step 5: Preview & Render Your Video

Once you are happy with your project, it's time to bring it to life.

1. Click the Preview button to check your layout and timing (Note: Lip-sync is not visible in preview mode).

2. Click the Render button in the top right corner.

3. Confirm the render. You will receive an email notification when your video is ready to download or share.
