1. Login & Click "Create Zap".
If you do not already have a Zapier account, you can register here. Once you are done, click on the “Create Zap” button.
2. Pick the needed app and choose an event.
Pick the App you want to work with, and choose the Event that will start the Zap. For example, you can use Google Sheets and transfer data from there. Choose the account that the App should be connected to. Here are more examples of triggers you can set:
Calendly (invitee created);
Mailchimp (new customer or order);
Hubspot (new contact property change or form submission, and more);
Typeform (new entry);
Shopify (new customer or abandoned cart, and more);
And more apps. Among the proposed options, choose the needed value. For Google sheets, the trigger can be adding a new row.
3. Test your trigger.
Let the Zapier solution run a quick test on your set trigger. Click “Continue”.
4. Set the action.
An action is an event that Zap performs after it starts. Choose the Elai app and set an event. The event is called “Render video from template”.
5. Connect your Elai account.
Click on “Choose an account” to connect your Elai account to Zapier.
6. Fill in the template data.
To set up the action, fill in the required template data. Make sure the type of data you type in corresponds correctly with the data that you shoes to transfer. Choose the video template ID from the drop-down list. You will get the final video based on the video template you choose. Read more about how to use the Elai templates with API here.
7. Publish your Zap.
After you are done with testing, you can publish your Zap. It will work based on the trigger you have set.
